Alexa ! Fantastic !
We all know alexa, this is the 4th version of echo dot, I must say that alexa is very useful, it tells you the news of the day, it alarms you, I stop the time, it tells you the weather, it reminds you, it plays you songs from amazon music, apporpoostito of songs sore point: it can be connected to Spotify but you need to have a paid account, unlike its rival google, alexa cannot broadcast the songs from youtube, so you can only listen to the free boys on prime music otherwise alexa works best with paid accounts.
Alexa can also act as a "smart home" but don't probe anything about that because I'm not using it for that.
The price is slightly higher than its previous echo dot three but I preferred to spend more and get the 4 version even though I am not noticing noticeable differences.
The speakers are very good if I put the volume at 100% risk of being reported by the neighbors.
Overall I recommend it to everyone.
Super assistant with super design
I am a lover of these Amazon devices, I have filled the house, I have one in every room, even one in the cellar, since I met the echo dots I have been passionate about making my home smart with devices that can be controlled by ALEXA. I was waiting for the right offer to buy this new 4th generation echo dot and it finally arrived, 59.90 euros during the days of Black Friday.
I find the new spherical design very beautiful and current. The small size, only 10 cm, allows you to place it in any type of furniture.
Inside the package there is the 4th generation echo dot, the 12V 1.25A power supply of different sizes compared to the 3rd generation but backwards compatible, and the multilingual instructions.
The configuration is very simple, there is also the possibility to buy it pre-configured, if you already have other echo dots, in this case just plug it in and it will work immediately. In case of first registration, the ALEXA app will provide all the necessary steps for commissioning.
The first thing I noticed is the audio quality, compared to the previous model, they worked on the speaker by significantly reducing distortions at maximum volume. Even the microphones seem to recognize the voice and the activation command better even in conditions of sound chaos. On the top there are the classic volume, mute and action buttons, while the LED ring is placed on the base.
Simply Smart
Echo dot is undoubtedly a smart assistant to recommend to anyone.
Since I started using it I have not been able to do without it, using it to listen to music, set reminders, manage smart devices and much more.
