Blink Sync Module 2 Add-on
The Blink Sync Module 2 is a hub that connects up to 10 Blink devices to your Wi-Fi network. It enables features like local video storage to a USB flash drive (up to 256 GB) to save clips without a subscription. It also improves convenience for arming/disarming multiple devices at once and for scheduling
Key features
- Connects devices: Links up to 10 Blink cameras (including Indoor, Outdoor, Video Doorbell, and Mini) to your Wi-Fi network.
- Local storage: Saves motion detection clips to a USB flash drive (sold separately) without a monthly subscription.
- USB drive compatibility: Works with USB flash drives between 1 GB and 256 GB.
- Clip management: Allows you to download, share, and view locally stored clips from the Blink app by accessing the USB drive.
- No subscription option: Saves clips locally, which eliminates the need for a cloud subscription if you only need local storage.
- Improved functionality: Allows for arming a group of devices at once and improves scheduling convenience.
How it works
- Plug the Sync Module 2 into a power outlet and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network using the Blink Home Monitor app.
- Insert a USB flash drive (up to 256 GB) into the Sync Module 2 for local storage.
- Add your Blink cameras to the Sync Module 2 through the app.
- The Sync Module will then manage the network connection for your devices and locally store motion clips on the USB drive.
