Good product
I am very satisfied with the purchase, the packaging is minimal, but well made, everything is tidy, attention to detail such as the shuko plus cover are for me an indication of quality.
The same quality can be found in the assembly, solid plastics and robust connectors.
I immediately connected it to the mains, then - wanting to use it with Alexa - I downloaded the MEROSS app, well made and functional, which once found and connected the socket, makes you download a special skill that allows you to use the various options and configurations of the socket from within Alexa.
Each shuko plug is configurable individually, in on-off, and also as settings such as timer, etc ... while the 4 USB charging ports are configured all together as one (so all on or all off, are seen as a single USB PLUG, perhaps the only jarring note).
From the Alexa program, the various plugs can be renamed and inserted into a group, so that two sockets, e.g. turntables and amplifiers, can be turned on/off individually, or together if both are inserted into a "Stereo" group (Alexa turn on stereo...).
There is also a manual switch to turn on and off each individual socket, as well as the whole multisocket.
Another small negative note is that there is no back-up battery, so in the event of a power failure I'm afraid that the configurations will be lost: so I don't know if I should advise you to insert the multi-socket downstream of a small UPS, because in this way the configurations would remain active, but if you connect devices with high absorption, the UPS could be affected.
It's a product I would recommend, I wouldn't save 2-3 euros to buy unknown brands.
There is also a variant with 3 shuko and 4 USB, but believe me that in the end 3 sockets fill up quickly, and having a fourth one free comes in handy.
Excellent smart power strip
Good smart power strip with 4 sockets, and 4 usb ports, has overload protection, fully programmable with the Meros app, and perfectly integrated with alexa and google home, the only flaw if you can call it that but it would have been a function that would have made it complete in its functionality, the ability to control each USB output independently, having said that it remains an excellent smart power strip
